The owners work from home and wanted a study they would close the door on at six. We painted it olive top to bottom, added a walnut desk and a credenza, and hung a geometric print they found at a flea market.
Downstairs, an inky blue wall, a round mirror and a velvet sofa make the living room, and a tulip table seats six by the window.
