What happens at the first consultation?
We meet at the studio, on a video call or at your home for an hour. We talk about the rooms, the budget and the timing, and you leave with a written note of what we would do and a fee proposal.
How are your design fees worked out?
Full-service and renovation projects are charged per square foot of floor area; kitchens, bathrooms, styling and e-design have a fixed fee per room. The consultation form shows a guide fee before you call.
Do you work with my budget?
Yes. We set the budget with you at the start, track every order against it and tell you before anything changes. Trade discounts are passed on to you.
Can you manage the builders and trades?
Yes. On full-service and renovation projects our project manager runs the site, holds a weekly meeting and sends you a written update every Friday.
Do you work outside your city?
For full-service projects we travel within about three hours of the studio. E-design works anywhere: we have designed rooms in more than thirty cities.
Can I keep some of my furniture?
Of course. We start with an inventory of what you love and design around it. Good rooms rarely come from a single shopping trip.
Our process
From first call to installation day
Consultation
An hour together, at the studio, at home or on video, to talk through rooms, budget and timing.
Concept
Floor plans, a materials palette and mood boards, presented in person so you can touch every sample.
Design
Detailed drawings, lighting, joinery and a costed specification, with 3D visuals of the key rooms.
Delivery
We order everything, manage the trades and finish with an installation day: you walk into a finished home.
